I just realized how rarely I have posted here this year. We’re still here and still doing our thing. It’s been a busy year for lotech, with a lot of real work and a little less creative work to be done.
Of course that doesn’t mean we haven’t been out there gigging or that we won’t be doing it next year. Expect some updates of updating events soon.

New Office time. Located on the beautiful Karangahape Rd district, it offers walking distance to the Strongest (Brazil) and also the worst (Starbucks) Coffee in the area. But heck – we’re getting a new coffee machine to celebrate anyway!
So, as of this weekend (Dec 2) you’ll find us at 49 Pitt St, just round the corner from our old (*sniff*) office @ Disrupt Gallery. The phones will be moving with us, but might be a few weeks behind. Got a demo model for a few weeks and have finally got some time to plug it in properly and see what it can and can’t do and if it’s even realistic for the VJ scene. For as much as we just want to impress people with HD content – are we or even our equipment ready for it?

One of the best movies I’ve seen all years (2nd to only Episode III – but I’m biased) was the adaptation of Frank Millers Sin City. If you haven’t seen it – stop reading this and go get it! But anyway the good news is on top of the fact that they’re making a sequel – they’re also working on a animated TV series. Hopefully it will be for the Adult Swim market not the 4pm tween market.
We’ll get the next movie first (based on Millers A Dame to Kill For) but 2007 should see a series. So there we have it more Sin City – add to that all the other currently refreshing TV shows coming out of the Corporate craphole of America. If you’re looking for good shows to *cough* download check out SHO’s Weeds, Cartoon Networks Venture Brothers & Family Guy. Entertainment all round.
